Irene Sauman

Irene is the author of the Emma Berry Murray River Mystery series, set in the 1870s on the pastoral stations and paddle steamers. A croquet inspired murder mystery series is planned, based in a retirement village. Well, they say to write what you know. \nShe is a retired historian living in Perth, Western Australia. She grew up and went to school in New South Wales, by the mighty Murray. Irene is a widow with three children and four grandchildren all living in Western Australia.
